Departure for Madaba. Arrival and visit to St. George’s Church, with its famous mosaic depicting all the biblical territories, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continue to Mount Nebo, from whose summit Moses saw the Promised Land, which he would never reach. Continue to Shobak Castle, a solitary reminder of the former glory of the Crusaders. Continue to Petra. Arrival in Petra. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Día dedicado por completo a la visita de Petra, conocida como la “ciudad rosa”, donde hace más de 2.000 años los nabateos ubicaron la capital de su imperio a lo largo de 500 años, esculpiendo admirables templos y tumbas en las montañas rosadas y utilizando sistemas avanzados agrícolas y de conducción del agua. El recorrido comienza por la Tumba de los Obeliscos continuando por el Siq, cañón de más de 1 Km de longitud tras el cual se descubre el Tesoro, una tumba colosal decorada con columnas y esculturas de un refinamiento y una belleza incomparables. Continuación hacia la calle de las fachadas y el teatro para acercarnos a los 850 escalones que nos llevarán hasta el imponente Monasterio “El Deir”. Al finalizar regreso a su hotel. Excursion to the Wadi Rum desert and ride in 4×4 vehicles. We will venture into the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has shaped into whimsical forms. Dinner and accommodation in camp.

Next, we will visit Amman, including the Citadel, the Archaeological Museum, and the Roman Theater. Afterwards, we will visit Jerash or “Gerasa,” a Greco-Roman city that was part of the Decapolis and is known as the “Pompeii of the East” due to its importance and magnificent state of preservation. Among other things, we will be able to admire Hadrian’s Gate, the Hippodrome, the Theater, the Agora or forum with its complete colonnade, the Cardo Maximus, the Temple of Zeus, and the Temple of Artemis. Afterwards, we will visit Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after its destruction by the Mongols. It is a castle from the Crusader period, located on top of a mountain and offering a beautiful view. Return to Amman. Dinner and accommodation.

Transfer to the airport. Departure on return flight to city of origin. Arrival and end of trip.
