Fez to Volubilis, Mulay Idrís and Meknes
We will meet at the main entrance of the Moulay Idriss Lyceum at the scheduled time, and from there we will head west to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city home to the most important archaeological remains in Morocco.
In Volubilis, you will have free time to explore the area. We will be here as long as you need, typically between one and two hours. If you wish, you can hire an official Spanish-speaking guide at the entrance.
After enjoying the impressive Roman remains, we will head to Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco's most important pilgrimage centers. It is a small town where you can see the most interesting parts of the medina in less than an hour.
The third stop will be Meknes, the most modest of the Four Imperial Cities of Morocco. In Meknes, you will have free time to eat and visit the city's most important sites, explore its souk, or enjoy a coffee in the square.
Finally, we'll head back to Fez and conclude the excursion after 10 hours of activity at the meeting point.
