ITINERARY
The adventure begins! We take a direct flight to Luxor, the city of the pharaohs on the banks of the Nile. Upon arrival, our coordinator will welcome us and take us aboard a luxury cruise ship where we will spend the next few nights sailing among millenary wonders.
We explore the impressive Temple of Karnak, with its majestic hypostyle hall of 134 columns, its Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the sacred lake. Then, we continue to the Temple of Luxor, one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt.
Do you want more? You have optional visits to the: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the enigmatic Colossi of Memnon, guardians of a vanished temple.
Afterwards, the cruise sails to Esna, we will sail on the Nile accompanied by an unforgettable sunset and followed by a great welcome party in pure Egyptian style.
We wake up in Edfu to discover the Temple of Horus, the best preserved in Egypt, with reliefs narrating epic battles between gods.
We continue navigation to Kom Ombo, where the dual Temple of Sobek and Haroeris is located. This sanctuary, dedicated to the crocodile god, is unique in Egypt.
Early departure to one of the most impressive places in Egypt: Abu Simbel. Its colossal temples, carved into the rock by Ramses II, were salvaged stone by stone in an amazing engineering effort to avoid being submerged by Lake Nasser.
In the afternoon, free time to relax in the cruise ship’s pool or Jacuzzi and enjoy the sunset.
Sunrise in Aswan, one of the most beautiful cities in southern Egypt. Optionally, you can visit: The Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on an island surrounded by crystal clear waters or a relaxing ride on a falucca, the traditional Egyptian boat and visit the Nubian village one of the oldest located on the banks of the Nile.
In the afternoon we fly to Cairo, the vibrant capital of Egypt.
Day of great wonders! We visit the legendary Necropolis of Giza, home of:
✔️ The Great Pyramid of Cheops, the only wonder of the ancient world still standing.
✔️ The pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinos, overlooking the desert.
✔️ The enigmatic Sphinx, guardian of the funerary complex.
✔️ The Valley Temple of Chephren, where mummification rituals were performed.
Optionally, you can explore more treasures at: Memphis and Sakkara and The Great Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest in the world dedicated to Egyptian civilization.
Free time in the morning to visit iconic sites such as: Egyptian Art Museum, Saladin Citadel and Alabaster Mosque and the Grand Bazaar of Khan el Khalili, a labyrinth of spices, perfumes and handicrafts.
In the evening you will have the pleasure of watching the sunset riding a quad bike around the pyramids an authentic experience.
After a week of emotions and discoveries, we return home with a soul full of unforgettable memories.
