- INTRODUCTION
These General Terms and Conditions regulate the contracting of services offered by TRAVETER through its online platform https://traveter.com/. By contracting our services, the user accepts the terms and conditions set forth in this document.
- BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Users can pay for their reservations in two ways:
Full payment at the time of booking.
Partial payment, divided as follows:
60% at the time of booking.
20% up to 40 days before the trip.
The remaining 20% up to 3 weeks before the trip.
The reservation is only confirmed once the total payment of the service has been completed.
Invoices are issued only upon request and once the total amount of the service has been paid in full. - CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
– Cancellation of TRAVETER’s own tours will be subject to the cancellation policies of the subcontracted service providers (hotels, transportation, activities, etc.).
– TRAVETER charges a commission for the management and creation of the package, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
– Cancellation penalties are in accordance with the conditions established by each supplier.
– Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for the reservation.
– The processing time for refunds will depend on the policies of the suppliers involved. - MODIFICATION OF RESERVATIONS
Any modification to a reservation must be requested in advance and will be subject to the availability and approval of the corresponding supplier.
TRAVETER will inform the user if there is any additional charge for the modification.
All modifications are governed by the conditions established by the suppliers of the contracted services. - USER AND AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the user:
– Read carefully the descriptions and conditions of the services before making the reservation.
– Provide truthful and complete information at the time of booking.
– Comply with travel requirements, including visas, vaccinations and necessary documentation.
– Arrive on time at the meeting points and follow the operator’s instructions.
Contact TRAVETER in case of any incident before or during the trip.
TRAVETER’s responsibilities:
– Act as an intermediary between the user and the tourism service providers.
– Manage the communication with the suppliers in case of incidents.
– Comply with the terms stipulated in the contracting of services.
– Exclude itself of responsibilities not stipulated in the contract, including situations derived from the breach of the user or third parties. - TRAVEL INSURANCE
– Depending on the package contracted, some suppliers include basic travel insurance.
– In cases where insurance is not included, TRAVETER will offer the possibility of acquiring additional insurance.
* If the user decides not to purchase travel insurance, TRAVETER is not responsible for any expenses or inconveniences arising from any incident during the trip. - FORCE MAJEURE
In case of cancellations due to force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, conflicts, among others), TRAVETER will abide by the policies of the contracted service providers and will act accordingly. - CONDITIONS FOR AGENCIES PURCHASING TRAVETER SERVICES
– The agencies receive the net prices of the services and establish their own profit margin.
– A contract is formalized with each agency establishing the terms of collaboration. - LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION
These General Conditions are governed by Spanish law. In case of controversy, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, Spain.
