The essence of Morocco and the desert

Upon arrival at Menara airport in Marrakech, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to the Riad. After a short rest, you can stroll through the lively souks and visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna square and in the evening we start with a great welcome dinner.

After breakfast, we will start a guided tour of the red city. You will explore emblematic monuments such as the Koutoubia, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the beautiful gardens, the medina, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, which transforms into a vibrant spectacle in the evening. You will have the afternoon free to continue exploring the souk and enjoy a terrace overlooking the sunset.

We leave Marrakech heading south, crossing the majestic Atlas Mountains. We will visit Ait Ben Haddou, a village recognized as a World Heritage Site and famous for its film appearances. We continue to Ouarzazate, nicknamed “the Hollywood of Morocco”. Then we follow the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs until we reach the Valley of the Roses, with breathtaking views, and end the day in the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a cozy hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to the impressive Todra Gorges, located 1,350 meters above sea level and surrounded by an enchanting palm grove. Afterwards, we continue to Erfoud, famous for its fossils and delicious dates. After a stop in the village of Rissani, we will arrive in Merzouga, where the vast desert of Erg Chebbi awaits you. In the evening, enjoy a drumming party under a starry sky, a truly magical experience.

We start the day with a spectacular sunrise in the dunes of Merzouga, followed by a delicious breakfast. Then, we will embark on an exciting Dakar-style route, crossing the desert on the other side of the dunes. On the way, we will stop to visit a nomadic jaima and learn about their way of life. We will also visit the Oumifis mine before arriving at the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music famous for its Gnawa music, where we can enjoy a performance and perhaps participate in the dances in the dances. Afterwards, we will taste authentic Berber pizza before returning to the riad. back to the riad. If you prefer, you can hire an exciting quad or buggy adventure in the dunes. After another breathtaking sunrise in the desert and a hearty breakfast, we will start our return to Marrakech. On the way, we will pass through the beautiful Draa Valley and cross the Anti Atlas. We will make several stops to enjoy the views and rest. The night will be spent in a hotel in Marrakech.

At the agreed time, our driver will take you to the airport for your return flight, closing this unforgettable adventure.
